Gandhi

FILM ANALYSIS

The films name is Gandhi, it was published in 1982. The film is a biography about Mahatma Gandhi’s life, his meanings and his rebel against the British.

Scene 2:
Gandhi learned from this train journey that there was no equality between the colored and white. The colored couldn’t travel together with the white ones, because the white ruled over India.

Gandhi had a ticket to first class but the conductor on the train saw that Gandhi was dark-skinned so he told Gandhi to go and take a seat on the third class. Gandhi refused because he had a first class ticket so why couldn’t he sit where he always did. The conductor kicked Gandhi out of the train because he wouldn’t move from first to third class. That was when Gandhi realized that there was no equality.

Next time he took the train he had all the respect he could get, and all the Indians. He could have sat at the first class but Gandhi choose to sit at the third class with all the others.

Scene 7:
The first speech at the beginning of the scene is Gandhi telling his followers how to rebel without any violence. “Nonviolence and truth are inseparable and presuppose one another. There is no god higher that truth.” – Mahatma Gandhi.

The Great Barrier Reef

Problem!
The Great Barrier Reef is exposed to much damage, it is threatened. I think that The Great Barrier Reef should have been preserved exactly as the arctic fox in Norway, are protected, what is the difference? The Great Barrier Reef is quite sick, I do not understand how all this might have been to.

From space...
The Great Barrier Reef is over 2000 km long and can be seen from space.

Great Barrier Reef from space.
World Heritage
It was listed on the World Heritage List by UNESCO in 1981, and CNN has named it one of the seven natural wonders of the world.

Oil
Last year, this coral reef threatened by a wrecked Chinese ships "Shen Neng".

Tourism
Each year, more than two million tourists in total will be 2 billion Australian dollars. Tourism is one of the main reasons why the Great Barrier Reef will be destroyed, because they walk on the coral reefs, the boats they are going to throw out the anchors on the coral reefs and boats leaking sometimes oil and gasoline. Tourists litter in the beautiful world heritage.

Wildlife
The Great Barrier Reef contains a lot of lives, many vulnerable and endangered species. In the reef, there are over 1,500 kinds of fish, 4,000 types of mollusc and 350 types of coral.

It is a pity that we are unable to take care of some of the beauty in this world, a shame!
